Singer, actress and businesswoman Jennifer Lopez has never looked better than at her 45. Fashion trendsetter for feminine forms and firm buttocks shared her fitness-secrets and nutrition system.

JLo stars in movies, gives concerts, has two children and inspires women to become "the best version of themselves". The Star in partnership with the fitness company BodyLab is developing a program of workouts and diets for women that helps to not only lose weight effectively, but also to make your body a harmonious one: "I became the face of BodyLab Company, because they train to love your body and work on it". If there is something JLo is good at, it’s definitely working on her body.

Secret no. 1

sprint triathlon jloTo get in shape after giving birth, Jennifer chose the sprint triathlon. Since then, she has been trained by the famous Tracy Anderson (the list of the stellar instructor clients includes Madonna, Shakira and Gwyneth Paltrow).

Lopez has set for herself a more ambitious goal than to lose weight - to take part in the competition: "I felt like a fighter, who enters the ring and prepares for the ultimate showdown". As a result, she dropped 18 kilos and took part in her first Triathlon tournament less than six months after the birth, in September 2008 in Malibu.

Secret no. 2

"I train with Tracy three to five times a week and go in for choreography classes as often as I can". Jennifer Lopez loves:

  • aerobics,
  • running in gym with a barbell,
  • making an exercise complex for problematic women's zones (buttocks, legs and abdomen), containing 9-13 exercises that the coach changes every ten days.

Secret no. 3

"The last stubborn 4 kilos gave in only due to vegetarian diet. I'm not a fan of diets, but I liked it: it’s nice to feel that you are giving your body the most useful - recognized the star.

- Now I eat almost everything, but in small portions. Still, the main part of the daily nutrition consists of fresh fruits and vegetables."

The iron clad rule of Jennifer - a complete rejection of salt and sugar.

Secret no. 4

Despite the tight schedule, Lopez sleeps at least eight hours a day. "I'm too boring to go partying and having fun until the morning light, - Lo laughs. - If I'm not busy on the set, I go to bed by midnight".

Secret no. 5

Favorite Jennifer’s mantra: "When you look good, you feel good". Yet, she prefers meditation to spa retreats and beauty salons:

"I sit down, through every though out of my head and just breathe. When I catch a wave, mind clarifies – thus, I find it easier to be happy and make the right decisions".

Over the years, I realized that happiness is the harmony of body, mind and soul. When you are happy, you succeed in everything.

Training With J-lo

Buttocks

  1. Get on all fours.
  2. Put the left hand on the waist, pull your left leg back and lift it up as high as possible.
  3. Return to starting position.
  4. Then move aside the left leg bent at the knee, straighten it and hold in this position for a few seconds.
  5. Return to the starting position, change the side.
  6. Make up to 15 repetitions for each leg.

Legs and arms

  1. Starting position - lying on your stomach, arms bent at the elbows, palms rest against the floor at chest level.
  2. Lift the left leg, put the foot on the toe.
  3. Move aside right leg at right angles to the body.Legs should be straight.
  4. Push off your hands off the floor and lift your body as high as possible, rounding the back, but without changing the position of the feet.
  5. Return to starting position.
  6. Make 30 repetitions, change sides.

Abs

  1. Get on your knees, feet slightly wider than shoulder width, spread for stability.
  2. Take 2 kg dumbbell in your right hand, bend it at the elbow, directing it a little bit behind the lower back so that the dumbbell looks aside.
  3. Put the left hand on the waist.
  4. Tilt your body to the left, keeping the balance, and return to starting position.
  5. Lean to the right, extending your hand with a dumbbell to the side, return to starting position.
  6. Make 30 repetitions, change sides.
