According to dietitians, there is a range of foods ensuring weight loss. Green tea is one of them. Let’s see how it works.
Green tea contains many biologically active enzymes, vitamins and antioxidants. Green tea enzymes can partially block the amylase action, responsible for breakdown of carbohydrates. In other words, when people drink green tea, they keep a low-carb diet.
Antioxidants found in green tea, can slow down the premature aging, provide a positive effect on the skin, prolonging youth. Vitamins, found in this drink help preventing vitamin deficiency and its consequences, caused by any diets.
To get maximum benefit, you should store and drink green tea properly. Store the green tea in a glass jar with tight lid, because tea leaves quickly absorb any odors. Besides, green tea loses all useful nutrients when stored improperly.
Green tea contains the whole group of catechins – polyphenol flavor substances, activating and burning excess fat inside cells. It provides antioxidant effect (better than vitamin C and tocopherol).
When preparing a cup of green tea, you need to follow some simple rules:
First, you need to pour hot (but not boiling) water over green tea leaves. Water temperature should be 70-80°C.
Use filtered water to enjoy the natural taste of green tea.
Secondly, do not rush to buy the cheapest tea, choose a good one. Take 2 teaspoons of green tea per one cup (200 ml) of water. If you take smaller amount of green tea leaves, the drink will get poor concentration and taste.
Thirdly, you must pour out the “first” water after steeping green tea. Green tea, brewed in “second” water is the best one. The leaves blossom like a flower bud, giving your tea a rich flavor and healthy substances.
Please note: you should keep this diet within a month.
